Hey I’m back! No I did not fall into a food coma so don’t worry. Just got busy with being 10 but now I’m 11 and committed to letting you know all of the cool places I’ve been eating and boy have I got a good one for you today!
Where do I start with the addictive Temple Coffee? My dad had been showing me their instagram feed for over a month, meaning the first time I went I had high hopes and I got what I had hoped for. Tucked away in a small industrial estate, it is a cool hipster venue, filled with neon lights and an industrial style decor. This is definitely where the cool people hang out, imagine beanie hats and sausage dogs.

Temple serves fresh glazed vegan friendly doughnuts and has new flavours to try each visit. It’s a really popular place so expect a queue out of the door! They always sell out quick and now I know why. The doughnuts are amazing! For a doughnut it is pretty big and it is the best thing I have EVER tried. The icing on them makes it sticky and messy and great fun to eat. I’ve been a few times and am officially addicted. I’ve tried the: strawberry glaze , candy floss, lemon cannoli and galaxy. Although beware the galaxy glaze does stain your tongue, but it is worth it as it is an explosion of taste in your mouth.
Top tip: They always sell out quick so get there early for more choices.

The drinks are great too with a choice non-dairy or dairy, whatever floats your boat. The drinks menu has the usual choices but also some more unusual flavours with pretty cool names like Black Sabbath and Purple Haze. I always have an iced Pink Floyd which is a white hot chocolate with ice, which gets its pink colour from beetroot which sounds disgusting but is actually amazing. My dad has a Black Sabbath and thinks he is really cool, but gets a black tongue and teeth from the charcoal LOL!

It is right by the Cardigan Fields, Kirkstall Road so if you are going to bowling or to the cinema and you have a bit of time, stop by Temple Coffee. Its one of my favourite places in Leeds to eat, so I recommend the next time you’re early for an intense bowling match, stop by Temple Coffee for a doughnuts for definite. You will not be disappointed but you might be a bit sticky!
