Mustard Pot

This child-friendly restaurant has great food and great staff. Their menu has great variety so lots to choose from . They are known for their Sunday roast in Leeds so if you live in Chapel Allerton you definitely need to give it try. There are lots of kids but I look like I’m the oldest one here today. They offer kids colouring sheets but I turned mine down. There are also board games so if you are an adult bringing your children they won’t be bored.

We live locally and fancied a roast dinner so went to the Mustard Pot because the massive Yorkshire puddings are one of my many favourite things there. They have a separate menu for Sunday, the normal menu does not have roast dinner on it, but lots of other delicious choices including the amazing burgers. On Sunday, choose from a selection of roast pork loin or beef and I promise you one thing, which ever you choose you will not be disappointed! I think we are the only ones in Leeds having desert without doing the half marathon. The desert was marvellous my mum had profiteroles and being the nice person she is my mum shared . I had lemon posset which was yummy and my dad had Northern Bloc ice cream.

A traditional pub with a modern touch the mustard pot is a great place for a relaxed family dinner. The table decor is simple but nice with empty wine bottles filled with beautiful flowers and black and white photos scattered around the restaurant. Our waitress is really nice and because we are sat at the corner at the back where we might get forgotten, she keeps on checking on us, which is nice . Speaking of sitting, our reserved table had a draft so we asked to move and they did. The staff are simply wonderful.

There is an outside area and it is lovely in the summer . They will have a table football, which me and my dad always play on and if my uncle is here with us he will join in. You can hire the bottom of the garden and they can put up bouncy castles for children’s parties. I had to tidy up a bit at a kids party and my payment was jellybeans , one memory I will keep for a long time because my dad and the bar lady was just joking but I actually did it!

From small-but-tasty starters , absolutely delicious mains and beautiful deserts for your sweet tooth Mustard pot will never let you down.
